Baby Skin Care

Babies have sensitive skin and shouldn't be given any skin care products. Any acne or pimples that come up are because of the development of hormones in the child. You shouldn't give babies any skin care products, whether the product is a cream or a Lotion. Nothing should be applied on a babies face except water.

The skin of a baby is very absorbent and thin. There layer of dead skin cells is much thinner than that of an adult, leaving it more vulnerable to infections. So avoid touching the baby’s face too much and avoid applying creams or lotions on their face. If you must apply a lotion or any type of cream to a baby’s face, make sure it is specially suited for babies. A great lotion that I recommend which is best suited for babies and adults is Johnson’s baby lotion.
